2sight substack is an auto-initiated cahier founded in 2022, focusing on trends, foresight and cultural intelligence.
Attempting to define our work, what we do and how we make business perpetually circles back to the glamourification of (fashion) trends. The main misconception happening between our expertise capitalising on the business of trends, and what’s trendy. A limiting perception that fails to catch the actual essence of the socio-cultural movements and emerging waves we track, decipher and analyse for an anticipated future. We study brands and marketing, but individuals and society remain our starting point of focus.
On our day-to-day missions, we disagree with telling our clients what will make them fit into the mould filled with fashionable trends. We rather want to break this hype mould and make them embrace meaningful change and innovations, from their business to their communities. And here, we feel we’ve used enough of the apparently required keywords to pretend to be cultural investigators.
In a world saturated with profound uncertainty and information overload, we aim to question common grounds and demystify marketing-ready ‘hypeness’. In a nutshell, we pause and take time to explore future-proofed visions that transcend today’s uncertainty.
Aside from helping our clients decipher future business opportunities, we are taking this 2sight substack medium as an opportunity to step away from commissioned work, projects emergencies and client briefs’ immediacy. Our initial ambition was to openly share our critical thinking process driving everything we do, and further evolved towards a space for creative research, meaningful scepticism, and uplifting learning, where chaos gets enlightened and future trends are demystified.
The type of work you’ll find on this space are articles, reviews, study samples, and more critical insights acting as ‘food for thought’ and dedicated to nourishing your eye (and brain) towards trends and future-oriented thinking.
The upcoming pieces of work might inspire you and cater to your need to further explore your brand’s future-faced potentials. If so, we are always here to answer your questions and have a chat.
To an attempt to contemplate the concrete in the abstract.
